These Terms explain how Astrospot works, what you get with your subscription, how renewal and cancellation work, and the rights you have as a customer. Please read them together with our Privacy policy.
In short
- Astrospot is an astrology service for adults: one yearly subscription opens your complete reading, compatibility for up to 10 people a year and all the tools.
- The subscription costs 99 USD or 99 EUR a year, depending on where you are, and renews automatically every year until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account page; you keep access until the end of the year you paid for.
- We email you a reminder before each yearly renewal.
- If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, which ends once access starts at your express request. Section 6 explains how this works.
- Astrology is a tradition of interpretation, not a science. Your readings are for reflection and entertainment and are never medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
This summary is here to help you. The full Terms below are what applies.
1. Who we are
astrospot.net (“Astrospot”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by SYNAPTIX BUSINESS SOLUTIONS S.R.L., a limited liability company registered in Romania with the Trade Register under number J2026008733005, tax identification code (CUI) 53856811, with its registered office at Str. Sapientei 1B, Sector 5, Bucharest, Romania. We are not registered for VAT.
You can reach us through our contact page or by post at the address above.
These Terms are a contract between you and us. They apply when you use the site, create an account or buy a subscription. By creating an account or subscribing, you confirm that you have read and accept them.
2. The service
Astrospot calculates astrological charts from the birth details you give us and publishes personal readings in your account. With an active subscription you get:
- your complete reading: your birth chart, chapter by chapter, and your year ahead (solar return, transits and your week);
- compatibility readings with up to 10 people per subscription year;
- “Your sky today”, the astro calendar and all the tools listed on the Tools page (wedding dates, lucky days, money charts, retrogrades, relocation chart and more);
- a weekly email with the transits of your week, which you can turn off at any time.
A sample reading for a fictional person is available for free on our demo page, so you can see what you get before you pay.
Readings are generated automatically by our software, which combines astronomical calculations with a library of astrological interpretations written by our authors. They are not written individually for you by an astrologer.
We keep improving Astrospot and may add, change or remove features. We will not reduce the main features of a subscription year you have already paid for, unless the change is needed for legal, security or technical reasons. If a change has more than a minor negative effect on your access or use, we will tell you in advance, and you may end your subscription free of charge within 30 days and receive a refund for the unused part of the year.
3. Who can use Astrospot
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a subscription. Astrospot is meant for personal, non-commercial use by individuals.
4. Your account
- Give us accurate information and keep your email address up to date: we use it for receipts, renewal reminders and important notices.
- One account is for one person. Keep your password private and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account; tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.
- Where we offer sign-in with Google, Apple or Facebook, the terms of that provider also apply to your use of its sign-in.
Your birth details are locked
Your reading is calculated for one person: you. To keep each subscription personal, once your birth date and birthplace are saved, they cannot be changed from your account. You can add or correct your birth time at any time (for example, once you find it on your birth certificate).
If you made a mistake when entering your birth date or birthplace, write to us through the contact page. We correct genuine errors, and we may ask for reasonable confirmation. We do not move an account to a different person.
People you add for compatibility
You may add the birth details of up to 10 people per subscription year. Only add people whose details you are allowed to use, and tell them that you are doing so. If you add a child, you must be their parent or guardian or have their parent’s permission. Removing a person deletes their details, but they still count toward that year’s limit.
5. The subscription
5.1 Price and currency
The subscription costs 99 USD or 99 EUR per year. The currency depends on the country we detect from your internet connection when you open the checkout: euros for the European Union, the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, US dollars for everywhere else. The price and the currency are shown on the Pricing page and again at checkout, before you pay.
We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to the price. Your bank or card issuer may charge currency conversion or foreign transaction fees; these are outside our control. A coupon applies to the first year only, unless the coupon says otherwise.
5.2 Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge the yearly fee to the payment method you used, at checkout and at each renewal, until you cancel. Your access starts as soon as the payment is confirmed.
5.3 Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically every year on the anniversary of your first payment, for another year, and is charged to the same payment method, until you cancel. Renewal is at the price in effect at that time; unless we have told you about a price change (section 5.5), that is the price you paid, without any first-year coupon.
We will email you a reminder at least 15 days before each yearly renewal, with the renewal date, the amount and a link to cancel.
5.4 How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, online, from your account page: open “Subscription and billing” and choose “Cancel subscription”. You can also ask us through the contact page. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep full access until the end of the year you already paid for, and nothing more is charged. You can resume a canceled subscription from the same place before that date.
If you delete your account, your subscription ends immediately and your access stops (see section 7).
5.5 Price changes
We may change the price of the subscription for future renewals. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before the renewal at which a new price would apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before that renewal. The price never changes during a year you have already paid for.
5.6 Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we or Stripe will let you know and retry the payment over the following days. Your access stays open for a grace period of 3 days after the renewal date. If the payment still has not succeeded by then, your access is paused until it does. If the payment cannot be collected, the subscription ends; you can subscribe again at any time.
5.7 Automatic renewal, in plain words
For customers everywhere, including in the United States:
- the subscription continues until you cancel;
- it renews once a year, on the anniversary of your first payment;
- each renewal costs 99 USD or 99 EUR (the currency of your subscription), unless we tell you about a different price at least 30 days in advance;
- the charge is made to your saved payment method on the renewal date;
- you can cancel online, at any time, from your account page, without contacting us;
- we email you a reminder before every renewal.
6. Right of withdrawal (European Union, EEA and United Kingdom)
If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you normally have the right to withdraw from a contract made online within 14 days, without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day the contract is concluded, which is the day you subscribe.
6.1 Immediate access and the end of the withdrawal right
Astrospot is digital content that we supply online straight away. Under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, as implemented in Romania by Government Emergency Ordinance No. 34/2014, and under regulation 37 of the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you lose your right of withdrawal once access begins, provided that:
- you expressly asked for access to start immediately, during the withdrawal period;
- you acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once it does; and
- we confirmed this to you on a durable medium.
At checkout, customers in these countries are asked to tick a box that does exactly this: “I want access to my reading to start immediately, and I understand that I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal once it does.” We record the date, time and wording of your request with your order, and we confirm it in the receipt we email you. Because access starts the moment your payment is confirmed, we can only offer the subscription with this request.
6.2 How to withdraw, where the right applies
If your right of withdrawal still applies (for example, because access has not started), you can exercise it by sending us a clear statement of your decision through our contact page or by post to SYNAPTIX BUSINESS SOLUTIONS S.R.L., Str. Sapientei 1B, Sector 5, Bucharest, Romania, before the withdrawal period ends. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to.
If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged any fees for the refund.
6.3 Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
To: SYNAPTIX BUSINESS SOLUTIONS S.R.L., Str. Sapientei 1B, Sector 5, Bucharest, Romania, via the contact page at astrospot.net/contact/
I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the supply of the following digital content: the Astrospot yearly subscription
Ordered on (*) / received on (*): ____________________
Name of consumer(s): ____________________
Address of consumer(s): ____________________
Email address used for the account: ____________________
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is sent on paper): ____________________
Date: ____________________
(*) Delete as appropriate.
6.4 Your legal guarantee
Independently of the right of withdrawal, the law protects you if the service does not work as described:
- European Union: Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content, as implemented by your country (for Romania, by Government Emergency Ordinance No. 141/2021), gives you the right to have the service brought into conformity and, if that is not possible or not done within a reasonable time, to a proportionate price reduction or to end the contract and get a refund;
- United Kingdom: the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you similar rights.
Nothing in these Terms limits these rights.
7. Refunds
Apart from the cases where the law gives you a refund (a valid withdrawal under section 6, or a service that does not conform under section 6.4), payments are not refundable once access to the subscription has started. When you cancel, the cancellation stops future renewals; we do not refund the remaining part of a year you have already paid for.
Renewals can always be avoided: you can cancel at any time before the renewal date, and we send you a reminder before every renewal.
If we end your subscription without any fault on your part (for example, because we close the service or make a change described in section 2), we refund the unused part of the year you paid for.
If you believe you were charged by mistake, please write to us through the contact page before contacting your bank. We look at every request in good faith. While a payment dispute (chargeback) is open, access to the subscription is suspended.
Deleting your account ends the subscription immediately and is not a reason for a refund of the remaining part of the year.
8. Acceptable use
Astrospot is for your personal use. You agree not to:
- share your account or your password, or let other people use your subscription;
- copy, resell, republish or distribute the readings, the interpretation texts or the charts, in whole or in large parts, or use them for a commercial service;
- use robots, scrapers or other automated means to access the site, or use our content to build databases or to train machine learning or artificial intelligence models;
- try to get around access controls, usage limits or security measures, or interfere with the working of the site;
- enter the birth details of people you are not allowed to use, or use the contact form or any feature to send spam or unlawful, abusive or misleading content;
- use Astrospot in breach of any law.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account as described in section 13.
9. Intellectual property
The site, the software, the interpretation texts, the chart drawings, the design, the name Astrospot and the logo belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and read your readings and use the tools. You may print or save your own reading for your personal use and share it privately with the people it concerns. Any other use needs our written permission.
The birth details you enter remain yours. You allow us to use them only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy policy.
Some pages link to other websites, such as the book pages that link to Amazon. We are not responsible for those websites; purchases you make there are governed by their own terms.
10. The nature of astrology
Astrology is an interpretive tradition, not a science, and its claims are not scientifically proven. The positions of the planets in your charts are calculated precisely from astronomical data, but what they mean is a matter of interpretation. Your readings are offered for personal reflection and entertainment.
Nothing on Astrospot is medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment or other professional advice. This includes the money charts, the lucky days, the wedding dates and the relocation chart. Do not make decisions about your health, your money, your relationships, your work or any legal matter on the basis of a reading alone, and talk to a qualified professional when you need advice. If you are going through a crisis, contact your local emergency services or a helpline.
The accuracy of a chart depends on the birth details you give us, especially the birth time. If you do not know your birth time, parts of the reading that depend on it (such as the Ascendant and the houses) are left out or marked as approximate.
11. Availability
We aim to keep Astrospot available at all times, but we cannot promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may need to pause the site for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. Where we can, we schedule maintenance at quiet times and tell you in advance about longer interruptions.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law. Nothing in these Terms affects the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Within those limits:
- we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you subscribed, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control;
- we are not liable for decisions you make or actions you take on the basis of a reading;
- our total liability to you for any claim related to Astrospot is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
If you live in the United States: to the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind other than those set out in these Terms. Some states do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Astrospot at any time: cancel your subscription so that it does not renew, and, if you wish, delete your account from your account page.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse of the payment system, or if the law requires us to. Where appropriate, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close your account because of a serious breach, we do not refund the remaining part of the year.
If we decide to close the Astrospot service, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and refund the unused part of your subscription year.
When your account is closed, your access ends and your personal data is handled as described in our Privacy policy.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example to reflect changes to the service or to the law. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. If a change materially affects subscribers, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies.
For an active subscription, the new Terms apply from your next renewal, unless the change is required by law or is only in your favor, in which case it may apply sooner. If you do not agree with the new Terms, you can cancel before they apply to you.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your country, and nothing in these Terms takes it away.
If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim before the courts of the country where you live or before the competent courts in Romania. We will only bring a claim against you before the courts of the country where you live.
Before going to court, please write to us through the contact page. Most problems can be solved quickly, and we try to answer within 14 days and to settle any complaint within 30 days.
Consumer authorities and out-of-court resolution
- In Romania, you can contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) at anpc.ro, which also runs an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) service for consumer disputes.
- If you live in another country of the European Union, you can contact the consumer protection authority of your country or the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) there, which helps with cross-border disputes free of charge.
- The European Commission’s online dispute resolution (ODR) platform was closed in July 2025 and is no longer available.
16. Other terms
- These Terms, together with the information shown at checkout and our Privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Astrospot.
- If a court finds part of these Terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- We may transfer this contract to another company that takes over the Astrospot service, provided that your rights are not reduced; we will tell you if this happens. You may not transfer your account or subscription to someone else.
- These Terms are written in English, and the English version applies.
